On December 1, f-cell China 2022 debuted in Shanghai. Ma Jingnan, Vice President of REFIRE Group, attended the 6th “Shanghai-Stuttgart-Symposium on Automotive and powertrain Technology (SSS)” held concurrently where she delivered a keynote speech and discussed with exhibitors and visitors on the R&D, application and promotion of fuel cell technology.
In her speech, Ma said: “Hydrogen is playing an increasingly critical role in the energy revolution. REFIRE Group is committed to playing its part in the revolution. Since our establishment seven years ago, REFIRE Group has been promoting the industrial development of hydrogen industry and cooperating with domestic and foreign companies involving in products, energies and scenarios to build the hydrogen energy ecosystem, bridge technological development with commercial application, and diversify the application of hydrogen energy technology.”
In recent years, REFIRE Group has closely worked with the known companies at home and abroad such as FAW Jiefang, Yutong Bus, King Long, BAIC Foton, Toyota, Mitsubishi Fuso to jointly develop about 140 fuel cell vehicle models for different application scenarios, including buses, light trucks, heavy-duty trucks, commercial buses, and off-road applications, bringing hydrogen power into our daily life.
Up to now, REFIRE Group has business presence in 22 cities of 10 provinces in China and many overseas markets. REFIRE Group has cumulatively delivered more than 4,000 sets of fuel cell systems, which helps achieve clean kilometrage of over 140 million km and reduce carbon emissions by over 76,000 tons.
In addition to applications in automotive sector, hydrogen energy technology is now being applied in many other fields. In this context, REFIRE Group has formally taken its step in diversified application of hydrogen energy technology this year. The company has launched a fuel cell forklift with Hangcha Group and will soon release the megawatt-level hydrogen distributed power generation project with CHINT Group, further expanding the application of hydrogen technology.
Guided by the international strategy of “connecting the dots”, REFIRE Group has partnered with Clean Logistics, Schaeffler, a Croatian municipal equipment manufacturer Rasco, and Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) this year to collaborate in technology, explore application scenarios and deploy products.
According to Ma Jingnan, REFIRE Group’s office in Europe and the engineering and after-sales service center in Germany are under construction, and will provide efficient service for local customers once completed. In addition, REFIRE Group is expanding its hydrogen energy ecosystem in North America, ASEAN and the Middle East. “We will leverage our experience in fuel cell technology development, engineering services and fuel cell vehicle operation in the Chinese market, provide tailor-made products and services for customers in different markets, actively participate in the construction of local supply chain, and share the opportunities of hydrogen energy development with more global partners.”
Since its debut in 2001, f-cell has evolved into the world’s leading platform for hydrogen and fuel cell technology exhibition and held a series of exhibitions in many countries. This is the first time that the exhibition has been held in China. In May this year, REFIRE Group was invited to the f-cell Canada 2022 at the Edmonton Convention Center in Canada.
